The 2 April Kids love technology and as a parent I understand the need to develop how they use techonology early. That is why Chipmunk and I have been hard at work on a preschool curriculum for Topher. The curriculum, Preschool Anywhere is similar to courses you would find on Udemy and Edx, except the lessons and topics are preschool themed to teach basics such as early reading and phonics, math, social studies, science and music. All of the lessons are presented in a multimedia format using videos and interactive presentaions. Links to online games that correlate to each lesson will be posted at the bottom of the lesson. Topher will also be using a workbook aligned to each week of Preschool Anywhere. The workbook is sold seperate from the free curriculum and consists of worksheets and one to two craft projects based on the weekly theme and lesson plans. All portions of the workbook are printable and can be used with pdf programs that allow annotating. Over our summer break Chipmunk and I tested out the workbook using Topher’s Mr. Pencil stylus and several Android programs that allow for annotating on pdfs and it worked beautifully. I’m always excited to get back to school, this year a little more so because we’ve tested out the first 2 weeks of the program on another student and he loves it. I hope your little ones love it as much as we do and enjoy playing to learn with us.
